Facial Mesotherapy

In recent years, one of the most frequently preferred methods among aesthetic procedures is mesotherapy. Mesotherapy involves the injection of various materials such as vitamins, enzymes, hormones, or plant extracts under the skin through injections, yielding gratifying results for the face. Mesotherapy, especially used for skin rejuvenation, was developed in 1952.

Initially, it was used to alleviate pain, but over the years, its purpose evolved. Nowadays, it can be said that it is a method used to increase collagen and elastin production to rejuvenate the skin.

Facial mesotherapy, also known as mesolifting, can be comfortably chosen by both women and men. The fact that it is performed without surgery makes this method more commonly preferred.

Purposes of Mesotherapy

The purposes of applying the mesotherapy technique to patients are determined based on the individual's needs. The most common purposes of this procedure in Turkey and worldwide can be listed as follows:

Eliminating excess fat in areas such as thighs, inner thighs, buttocks, arms, and face

Reducing the appearance of cellulite

Making wrinkles and lines less pronounced

Tightening sagging skin

Evening out skin tone

Eliminating or reducing the appearance of blemishes on the skin

Treating alopecia (hair loss)

Achieving a younger facial appearance

How Many Sessions of Facial Mesotherapy are Applied?

The number of sessions required to alleviate a patient's complaints can vary. We cannot say that the same number of sessions is applied to every patient for facial mesotherapy. It should be noted that session intervals are determined to be between 1 week and 4 weeks.

On average, to achieve successful results, about 4 to 6 sessions are required. However, in some cases, the goal may be to address a simple skin issue. In such cases, successful results can be obtained with just 1 to 2 sessions.

Therefore, the number of sessions can vary depending on both the patient's skin structure and the desired outcome. It is essential to highlight that the effects of the procedure begin to appear relatively quickly. Typically, results become clearly visible after the second session.

Following this session, the skin attains a radiant appearance and, as a result, becomes healthier. It's worth knowing that this procedure can be repeated after some time. In conclusion, after an average of 4-6 sessions, a repeat can be performed every 3-6 months, allowing for increased benefit from the procedure.
